The New CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA Trailer Is Even Better Than The Last One

Did...did Netflix make this show just for us?

The last time we ran a trailer for Netflix's forthcoming Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, I had to eat a fair amount of crow: after shrugging off the series as something I couldn't possibly have any interest in watching, I was left positively shook by how cool the damn thing looked. Spooky, Satanic and just a little bit campy, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina had all the symptoms of something that would be very much my jam. To say I was pleasantly surprised would be a massive understatement.

Anyway, today brings us a new trailer, and I'm hyped all over again.

Look, if you're not into that, I dunno what to tell you. It remains to be seen if Sabrina's charms will work on me whereas Riverdale's didn't (the two shows, from the same executive producers, appear to share a lot of the same DNA), but I'm more than willing to give this its day in court.

If the trailer didn't make everything clear, here's an official plot synopsis:

"Chilling Adventures of Sabrina imagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch as a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult and, of course, witchcraft. Tonally in the vein of Rosemary’s Baby and The Exorcist, this adaptation finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature — half-witch, half-mortal — while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit."

Featuring a cast that includes (deep breath) Kiernan Shipka, Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Ross Lynch, Michelle Gomez, Chance Perdomo, Jaz Sinclair, Richard Coyle, Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Abigail Cowen, Lachlan Watson, (BALKI ALERT) Bronson Pinchot, and Gavin Leatherwood, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is very high on my to-do list.

We'll be watching when it hits Netflix on October 26th. Will you?
