There really isn’t much to share here in terms of details, but according to a tweet by Jeff Sneider, Chris Evans is going to be in Rian Johnson’s Knives Out, a non-Star Wars murder mystery movie that will also star Daniel Craig.
I’m sure it’s a coincidence, but this kind of goes hand in hand with a tweet from Evans earlier today celebrating his time as Captain America:
Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.

Though it’s not explicit, many consider this his public goodbye to the character. And it very well may be. If so, I’m going to miss him but also feel confident he’ll get the send-off he deserves next summer.
On the other hand, I am excited to see Evans take on cool non-Marvel roles. Staring in a new Rian Johnson movie definitely counts. Bonus points if he gets to be the latest guy to kill Noah Segan!
As you can guess, we are very excited for Knives Out and will make sure to keep you updated on all its future developments.
