TOY STORY 4 Teaser Ruins The Harmony

I guess we’re just always going to have Toy Story movies. It’s not so bad, though, when they come out at a rate of one per decade or so. Somehow, a full nine years will have passed between 2010’s Toy Story 3 and next summer’s Toy Story 4. That kid who inherited all those toys is probably about grown up by now. It’s hard out there for a family of immortal toys who just want to be loved.

Which is all to say, here it is: the first teaser for Toy Story 4…

As expected, there’s not a lot here. It serves more than anything as a refresher on the gang, disrupted by a makeshift spork toy that ruins everything. I don’t know if Sporky (the absolutely genius name I just came up with) will factor heavily into the plot or not. I just know that these films have become major cry-fests and as such, I am totally gearing myself up for all these toys to die in this one.

We’ll see when the film hits June 21.
