Oh Wow, Get Ready For A BETWEEN TWO FERNS Movie

As a fan of Between Two Ferns, a fan of Zack Galifianakis and, above all, a fan of Scott Aukerman, I am very happy to share that - according to THR - Netflix and Aukerman and Galifianakis and some ferns have been working on a feature film version of the popular Funny or Die show.

Whew, that’s a lot! But there’s more because THR also thinks it knows some of the folks who will appear to get interviewed: Keanu Reeves! David Letterman! Peter Dinklage! Ed Helms! Bradley Cooper is coming back!

Which should tell you basically what we’re in for here - just a whole lot more Between Two Ferns, really. It doesn’t appear like they’re going to mess with things much, which is fine by me. My man Scott Aukerman co-created the show and directed a bunch of them so he will go ahead and direct this one as well. If you need more proof that’s a good idea, please check out the amazing Michael Bolton's Big, Sexy Valentine's Day Special he co-directed with Lonely Island’s Akiva Schaffer. I highly doubt this is how it works, but I figure the better Scott Aukerman is doing out there, the less likely he is to pull Hollywood Handbook off Earwolf, so this truly is good news all-around.

Hopefully, we get a release date soon. In the meantime, a lot of those old episodes are worth revisiting. Or seeing for the first time!
