Here's an exciting piece of news: according to The Hollywood Reporter, Kong: Skull Island director Jordan Vogt-Roberts is teaming up with Black Panther's Michael B. Jordan for a brand-new monster movie, a "creature feature" to be set in Vogt-Roberts' hometown of Detroit. A search for a screenwriter is underway even as we speak.
Beyond that, THR's report is not terribly forthcoming with the details. We don't know what it's called, what kinda monster might be involved, how big said monster might be - nothing. As such, I decided to put on my Big Boy Reporter pants and slide into Vogt-Roberts' Twitter DMs, to see what sort of exclusive information I could dig up for you, the gentle BMD readers of the world.
These are my findings:
Please stay tuned for further updates on Jordan Vogt-Roberts' untitled creature feature, starring Michael B. Jordan and possibly a giant fish (but not like a Kong-sized giant fish) as they roll in. We're all over this one.
