Imagine The CHEERS Intro, Now With 100% More Pennywise
Earlier this evening, I was minding my own business - studying the Bible, celebrating a life of sobriety - when former Birth.Movies.Death. contributor (and current FANGORIA Editor-In-Chief) Phil Nobile Jr. shot me the link to the Tweet below. Five seconds into this clip, I knew it was precisely the sort of ridiculious, borderline nonsensical, funny-yet-difficult-to-describe-in-a-headline sorta thing I needed to put in front of you, the gentle BMD readers of the world.
Please watch it now.
Anyway- Here’s the opening to Cheers but with Pennywise the Clown hidden in every photograph. pic.twitter.com/FjCrv2PJCg

This is, as you can see, the intro to '80s mainstay sitcom Cheers, only this time Twitter's own Jesse McLaren (who you really oughtta follow, if you're not following already) thoughtfully added Pennywise the Clown to the proceedings. Is there a good reason for Pennywise the Clown to be in the Cheers intro? No. Is there a joke here that you're missing? No. Was it funny enough for me to hop in the back-end at 11PM on a Friday night to share with you? Yes.
Enjoy, everyone, and have a good weekend.
