Simon Pegg And Nick Frost Reunite For New Amazon Series

The duo will play ghost-hunters in TRUTH SEEKERS.

It's been a hot minute since we last saw Simon Pegg and Nick Frost together on a screen of any size, but as long promised, the two are finally getting back together for a new project: A new Amazon Prime original series called Truth Seekers, which – according to Variety – was an early project dreamt up by the duo when they first set up their production shingle, Stolen Pictures, in 2017. Pegg and Frost will play the eponymous characters, a pair of ghost-hunters with their own web series who find themselves in an increasingly spooky situation – presumably with some good old-fashioned goof 'em ups along the way:

Frost plays Gus, one half of a ghost-hunting, duo who team up to uncover and film paranormal sightings across the U.K. in the series. They stake out haunted churches, underground bunkers, and abandoned hospitals using an array of homemade ghost-detecting gizmos and share their adventures on an online channel. Their supernatural experiences grow more frequent, terrifying, and even deadly as the pair begin to uncover a conspiracy that could threaten the entire human race.

Pegg wills also star, as Dave, a character about whom little is yet known. Further casting will be announced soon.

Pegg and Frost last appeared together in the 2018 film Slaughterhouse Rulez. The duo will co-write the new series, which begins production in September and will probably premiere sometime next year.
