Edgar Wright’s LAST NIGHT IN SOHO Will Be Here In Just Over A Year

Can YOU wait 11.5 months?

Baby Driver would now be a toddler driver. The film came out long enough ago that Kevin Spacey is in it and even plays kind of a good guy. All I’m saying is it’s time for a new Edgar Wright movie.

That film is going to be Last Night in Soho. We don’t know what it’s about, just that it’s a psychological thriller that presumably takes place in Soho (the London one). If we’re doing assumptions, it probably also has a decent soundtrack brewing and will be furiously edited. We do know the cast though. Last Night in Soho will feature Anya Taylor-Joy, Matt Smith, Diana Rigg, and Terence Stamp. We also know Wright co-wrote the film with Penny Dreadful’s Krysty Wilson-Cairns.

And now we know when it’ll come out: September 25, 2020. That’s a good date! It gets the film away from summer expectations but arrives right before everything has to be a huge critical darling. Plus, right around Fantastic Fest!

So sure, that’s a great time for a new Edgar Wright movie. Now we just need to be told what this whole thing is about anyway. And then get a poster (well, there seems to already be kind of a logo poster) and then get a trailer… you know the drill.
