Tony Timpone started with FANGORIA in 1985. In the ensuing 34 years, he's become synonymous with the brand, repping it on the pages (both in the articles and t-shirt ads), at conventions and events, and even on television. Today, an absolute perk of my gig is getting to interact with Tony on a regular basis. He's a warm, genuine presence with a lifetime of experience and wisdom (though too humble to ever say so himself), and his articles require ZERO proofreading. The man is a gift.
He's also got more horror luminaries on his phone's contacts than you could imagine, so it was fun to have him reach out to some of our faves and ask them to recount what one horror movie changed them forever.
