Once again, our friends at the Alamo Winchester are bringing quality cinema to Virginia film fans this fall!
From September 19th through the 22nd, Andy Gyurisin’s Lost Weekend XII will feature forty-three films from around the world, including advance screenings of Carlo Mirabella-Davis’ Swallow, Jeremy Gardner’s Something Else, and Adam Egypt Mortimer’s Daniel Isn’t Real. Other titles include Joe Begos’ Bliss, Takashi Miike’s First Love, and Peter Strickland’s latest stunner In Fabric.
But that’s not all! The event will also include games, a special menu, and a silent auction with items donated by local artists and businesses to benefit local non-profit NW Works. Having attended this charming festival a number of times, I can tell you without a doubt that if you’re anywhere near Virginia next month, the Alamo Winchester is the place to be!
