Get ready for s'more awesome shenanigans from the Alamo Drafthouse's Rolling Roadshow crew – this time with literal s'mores. Per a very exciting official press release, the Rolling Roadshow is bringing The Sandlot back to the big screen with select members of the cast for a special outdoor screening event. This is Austin, which means summer isn't over until, like, 2020. With that in mind, mark your calendars for October 20, when Rolling Roadshow takes over Treaty Oaks Distilling in Dripping Springs, Texas for one wild and crazy night celebrating a stone cold ’90s classic. The Sandlot's very own Tom Guiry (Smalls), Chauncey Leopardi (Squints), and Patrick Renna (Ham) will be on hand for an event sponsored by our pals at the Alamo Drafthouse, Rolling Roadshow, and the Austin Food & Wine Alliance.
There will be pre-show activities and a Q&A with the cast, exclusive merch to purchase, and a special menu featuring Sandlot-themed food and drinks – like s'mores pudding (PUDDING, Y'ALL), homemade cracker jacks, Big League Chew (of course), and the usual stadium classics (think nachos, hot dogs, and then some).
Seating is limited, so grab your tickets ASAP from the official Rolling Roadshow website. Even more limited are the VIP tickets, which give you access to meet and greet with the Sandlot crew and receive exclusive autographed keepsakes to remember this very special night.
