March is Teacher Appreciation Month, and our pals at the Alamo Drafthouse are celebrating all month long with free snacks for teachers, educators, professors—basically, if you work at a school, your snacks are on the Alamo this March. Professional educators are some of the hardest working people in the country, but they remain woefully underpaid despite their significant contributions to shaping the hearts and minds of children and teens. This March, at participating Alamo Drafthouse locations nationwide, teachers and school staffers of all stripes are welcome to one free $10 snack pass per day with any ticket purchase. The voucher is good for $10 off any non-alcoholic food order, so use it on queso, popcorn, a discounted pizza or burger—whatever your hungry heart desires.
What about parents who homeschool their kiddos? You're included, too! Teacher Appreciation Month has already begun at your local Drafthouse, and runs all the way through March 31. More details—including participating locations—below:
Educators and school staff members will be asked to provide the box office with a current ID from their place of employment – preschool, elementary, high schools, or university. Homeschooling parents may bring along documentation that shows that they're a teacher to claim their Snack Pass.
Snack Passes will be offered Sunday, March 1, 2020 through Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at participating locations. The offer is only valid with ticket purchases at the box office – online and kiosk purchases do not qualify.
