Our calendar beer for December 19th is a genuine, north-of-the-border, Caledonian-brewed winter warmer - Howell's Frosty Bells.

Today we're heading north to Michigan for another Scottish style ale - Bell's Christmas Ale.

Today's advent calendar beer is another one you can't get this year, but there's an interesting story to it so that makes it okay... right?

It's about time we had an American beer from east of the Mississippi on this year's calendar, so let's try some Brooklyn Winter Ale and a beer style we haven't featured yet.
