Totally Bonkers Clip From Goth Nazi Hunting Sean Penn Movie

The premise of Paolo Sorrentino’s new film, This Must Be The Place, is already completely nuts:

A bored, retired rock star sets out to find his father’s executioner, an ex-Nazi war criminal who is a refugee in the U.S.

Write what you know, right? The premise is crazy, and the first image of Sean Penn in Robert Smith drag was really weird. But you don’t know how bonkers this movie might be until you’ve watched this clip, featuring Penn doing some sort of whiny 15 year old voice and Frances McDormand looking embarrassed. And the final reveal of the clip is way over quirky.

I suspect This Must Be The Place could be a terrible, terrible film. I must see it.
