It’s Official: MAX PAYNE’s John Moore To Direct DIE HARD 5

What a bummer. Fox has officially signed John Moore, the truly untalented director of the remake of The Omen and the adaptation of Max Payne, to direct Die Hard 5. This feels like a decision to get someone cheap, who can shoot footage and take orders. This doesn’t feel like a decision to make a good or interesting movie of any kind.
This film will see John McClane and his son trapped in Russia and then… oh, who cares? This is a weary, cynical return to a franchise well that has been poisoned already. Things used to be good, you know.
