Australian surfers in neon glow in the dark suits and boards cut through the black waves of the night! (Sounds portentuous)
It's summer in Australia! Those guys do it all backwards - they have summer for Christmas and they surf at night.
OK, they don't usually surf at night, but they do in this video, which is really a commercial for Strongbow Cider (drinking and surfing at night - this sounds like an entry in the Darwin Awards). Outfitted in neon suits and surfboards, the surfers took to the waves at Bondi Beach in the middle of the night. The video is especially cool because it was shot by Jack McCoy, the surf photographer whose footage has appeared in Endless Summer II, Riding Giants and Step into Liquid.
