Listen To Chevy Chase’s Awful 1980 Album

Lots of celebrities think they can be singers. William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Bruce Willis, Eddie Murphy -  they're just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to bad celebrity vanity albums.

But some get lost in the mists of time... for good reason. One such 'lost' album is Chevy Chase's opus from 1980. To be fair, Chase's album is at least a comedy record, unlike many other celebs, who take their audio misadventures very seriously. And Chase had a real background in music before becoming a comic, and he supposedly has perfect pitch.

That said, his comedy album, Chevy Chase, is staggeringly unfunny and terrible. It includes a cacophonous National Anthem, a Chipmunk version of Let It Be, a parody of Randy Newman's Short People and an unbearable parody of Rapper's Delight called Rapper's Plight.  There's A LOT of drug humor, which really helps explain why this album even exists.
