GANGSTER SQUAD Trailer Gets Stylish
Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling and Josh Brolin look great in hats.
I love LA crime stories set in the late 40s/early 50s. From James Ellroy to LA Noire to Chinatown to all the noir classics, I love 'em. So I hope I love Gangster Squad. I love the look of it already; polished and sleek and gorgeous, impeccably styled and handsome. I like the violence. I love the scene of the mobsters firing and then walking through the screen at the Chinese Theater. But I'm not fully sold on everything else; I kind of zoned out during the trailer. Consider me cautiously excited!
