Bootleg EVIL DEAD Trailer Is Pretty Damn Good

For years I've been against bootleg stuff, and I almost never run that material on my site. But fuck it. There's no percentage in playing the game clean, and the reality is that the studios don't care. I'm servicing an outmoded concept of ethics. I'm living in the past.

So here's the crooked, dark and kinda blurry trailer for the remake of The Evil Dead! I like it a bunch; it looks pretty, the gore is extraordinary, and I like that Ash is a girl and that a Deadite infected arm is represented in scabrous, pustule-covered skin. The original elements are there - the skateboard cam and the shots of the clock - but it looks tonally different, like a familiar yet changed cover song.
