SXSW ‘13 Midnighters: YOU’RE NEXT, Rob Zombie & V/H/S 2

The festival announces its Midnight genre line-up and there are some movies very worth catching.

I missed You're Next the first time around. The film played a couple of festivals in 2011 and then was bought by Lionsgate and has been stuck on a shelf since then. It's scheduled to be released this year, but I won't have to wait until the announced fall date, as it's playing SXSW 2013! It's the Midnighter selection I'm most excited about, although this year's line-up has some real quality films.

There are some other big highlights, especially the new film from Vincenzo Natali, director of Cube and Splice. Austin audiences will also have a chance to see the crazily improved V/H/S 2, as well as Rob Zombie's new one, Lords of Salem (about which I've heard mixed things but I simply must see it).

Here's the full release!
