Robert Downey Jr. Will Return For AVENGERS 2 & 3
Looks like Marvel located all the tea in China, after all.
This is more of a headline than an actual story, but it is a good headline: Marvel has signed Robert Downey Jr. to play Tony Stark and maybe even Iron Man for The Avengers 2 and 3. It is worth noting that there is no Iron Man 4 in the cards.
This is great news for the next two Avengers films, to be sure. Money-wise, Marvel can't be too happy to not have a new Iron Man film coming down the pike, but I love the idea of Stark as an Avengers-only entity, especially when Iron Man Three concluded his story so well.
