Channing Tatum’s JUPITER ASCENDING Character Sounds Weird And Awesome

Being played by Channing Tatum was only the beginning of this character's supremacy.

Other than the fact that it will probably be really great, we know very little about Andy and Lana Wachowski's upcoming sci-fi film, Jupiter Ascending. The plot has something to do with Mila Kunis as a poor girl who shares DNA or something with the Queen of the Universe and must be eliminated. That's about all we can say for sure.

But thanks to junket interviews for the truly ridiculous White House Down, we've learned about bit more about Channing Tatum's character. Speaking with Collider, Tatum did a lot of talking about how groundbreaking the film would be but then let go this gem:

I’m a splice. Splices are essentially built in a test tube.  I’m a hybrid wolf and human. And half albino, so I’m a little defective.

You had me at "Queen of the Universe" but if we're also going to throw in half albino werewolves, I'm going to have to raise my expectations for this just a little bit higher than they already are. I don't even know what a half albino is. But I can't wait to find out.

Jupiter Ascending comes to theaters next summer despite the fact that it's not based on any financially proven source material.
