No POINT BREAK Remake For Gerard Butler

Jeez. I guess it was too good to be true after all. The Hollywood Reporter reports that Gerard Butler will not be taking the Patrick Swayze role in Ericson Core's Point Break remake. I feel like I should repeat that in all caps but will refrain.

There are appears to be two reasons for this massive disappointment which threatens to devalue existence itself. One is scheduling due to Butler's Olympus Has Fallen headstabbing duties. But the other reason seems to be the fact that Butler just doesn't want to be in this remake of Point Break. Creative differences abound and all that.

Naturally, if I have to choose between a Point Break remake I don't actually care about and an Olympus has Fallen sequel I very much want to see, I'm going to land on the side with headstabs. Now Point Break will have to find another Bodhi. I highly recommend my dad. He's always been kind of a Bodhi to me.
