Martin Lawrence Threatens Us With A BAD BOYS 3 Update

Martin Lawrence was on Conan last night. It was great. But then he had to rip himself away to appear on a television show coincidentally hosted by a different Conan altogether.

While on this televisions show, the other Conan asked Lawrence if there was ever going to be a Bad Boys 3, to which Lawrence answered:

I believe so, yes. I just talked to Jerry Bruckheimer yesterday, and he said it’s real. They’re working on the script. They’re getting close, and it all looks good.

This does not necessarily mean a Bad Boys 3 is going to happen. It’s nice that there’s a script going, but there’s still no Michael Bay or Will Smith going, so at this point it’s all just Martin Lawrence going.

But if there is a Bad Boys 3 in our future, I have to admit that I’m kind of looking forward to it. And I say that as someone who hates the first two (yes, both of them). I just want to see Michael Bay working with humans again, even if those humans are two highly amoral cops who hate each others guts.
