Badass Exclusive: Mondo’s New Poster And Vinyl Soundtrack For Lucio Fulci’s A CAT IN THE BRAIN

Check out a beautiful new screenprint from Mondo's upcoming gallery show, opening this Friday. Plus a new Fulci soundtrack on vinyl!

This Friday, our friends at Mondo will unveil one last gallery show before September's MondoCon: Harsh Majical, a collection of screenprints (and more) from Sonny Day and Biddy Maroney, the uber-talented, Australian power-couple known as We Buy Your Kids. The artwork created by WBYK is unlike anything else being produced under the Mondo umbrella, and it looks like their latest show will continue that trend.

Today, BAD's pleased to reveal a brand-new screenprint from the show - for Lucio Fulci's A Cat In The Brain - as well as the album artwork for the film's soundtrack, which Mondo will be releasing on vinyl at Friday's show (as always, anything remaining after the show will likely be up for grab's via the Mondo website sometime in the near future). First up, let's take a look at the screenprint.

A Cat In The Brain
Screenprint by We Buy Your Kids

Edition of 85

And here are some shots of the soundtrack, as well as some details on the vinyl itself:

A Cat In The Brain (Un Gatto Nel Cervello)
$25 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Fabio Frizzi
Artwork by We Buy Your Kids
Featuring liner notes by Fabio Frizzi
Available for the first time ever on Vinyl
Pressed on 180 Gram Black Vinyl
Randomly inserted Brain Colored vinyl

I'll be covering the show for BAD this Friday, so stay tuned for some photos (and maybe a few words with Sonny and Biddy) sometime over the weekend. In the meantime: what do you guys think of the print/album? Admittedly, I'm not a vinyl guy, but that package is damn sexy. If Mondo ever gets around to issuing John Carpenter's The Thing score on vinyl, I might just have to make the plunge and pick up the necessary hardware.
