Things Get Screamy In This INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 3 Trailer

Turn your headphones down or your ears will become ghosts.

One of these days I’m going to finally sit down and watch all these Insidious movies. I don’t know when, but eventually it’s going to happen. Until then, I’ll just have to remain mystified by the whole thing. From my current perspective, it seems to be a series about ghosts who scream at people.

Insidious Chapter 3 is actually a prequel focusing on Lin Shaye’s character and how she first came across these ghostscreamers. I’m not usually into prequels, but I’ll allow it if it means Lin Shaye gets a bunch of awesome screen time. Along with Shaye, the film features Dermot Mulroney or Dylan McDermott.

This is also writer Leigh Whannell’s directorial debut. Just judging from the trailer, it looks really good. He really has his screaming ghost game down, though I can’t comment on how it compares to previous Insidious ghost screaming. You guys can let me know in the comments.

Insidious Chapter 3 comes out May 29, 2015. Hopefully the summer movie season doesn’t swallow it up completely.
