The First COOTIES Trailer Is Fantastic

We've been hearing about Cooties for what feels like ages (Devin saw and reviewed the film all the way back in January of last year, and Meredith recently caught a screening at this year's Stanley Film Festival), but the wait is almost over: Cooties arrives in theaters September 18th.

Love, love, love this trailer's goofy/sinister tone. Love Elijah Wood using a hockey stick to wreck shop on a bunch of infected kids. Love Rainn Wilson as the grizzled, alpha male gym teacher. I love this trailer in general, in fact. Here's hoping the positive buzz I've been hearing about Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion's film (co-written by Leigh Whannell and Ian Brennan) proves to be deserved. This looks right up my alley.

Added bonus: this Cooties poster (designed by Jay Shaw, if not mistaken), which I would very much like to get my hands on, if anyone's in a position to make that happen.
