Jody Hill And Danny McBride Are Making A New Movie Together

When Jody Hill directs anything, chances are great that it will be magical (and gross, and uncomfortable, and in somewhat poor taste). This is especially true of his collaborations with Danny McBride.

So it makes me very happy to hear that the duo will be working on a new film soon. It’s called The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter. Hill is directing a script he co-wrote with McBride and John Carcieri. Josh Brolin will also be in the film. It should begin shooting this fall.

That’s it. That’s all we know. Other than what we can assume given the title, we don’t even know what it’s about. But who cares. It’s going to be something worth seeing regardless of its plot.
