SDCC: THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. Gets A Long And Snazzy Trailer

It feels like many days ago now, but Warner Bros kicked off their massive Hall H presentation this morning with a Man from UNCLE panel. I think everyone was a little groggy. Moderator Aisha Tyler asked the cast (Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, Alicia Vikander, and Elizabeth Debicki - Guy Ritchie was in Scotland and sent in a video message) a bunch of questions, but most of the answers were just variations on “…because that’s what Guy Ritchie told me to.” Funny in a way, but not all that informative.

What we did get, however was a new trailer for the film. Not just any trailer either, but this long-ass behemoth:

What do you guys think? This movie certainly has its handsome cred on lockdown, but other than that it’s not doing much for me. It’s one thing to look charming, another to actually feel charming. I'm not all that charmed yet.
