Good Lord, The Emmys Killed It With The Nominations This Year
Major awards shows get it wrong so often, it's sort of shocking when one gets things so right. See also: this morning's 2015 Emmy nominations, which gave a little love to just about every show we're into. Silicon Valley, Better Call Saul, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, The Last Man On Earth, Veep, and a dozen other of our most-beloved series got nods across virtually every category. Sure, there are some notable missteps here (how you gonna nominate Keegan-Michael Key buy not Jordan Peele? How does TJ Miller not get nominated for Silicon Valley? Where the hell is Hannibal?), but on the whole, this is a lineup worth celebrating.
