Serious Question: Are You Excited To See FANTASTIC FOUR?

Josh Trank's FANTASTIC FOUR arrives this week. How does that make you feel?

For months now, bad buzz has plagued Josh Trank's Fantastic Four. The bulk of that chatter's been devoted to TMZ-level gossip about what went on during the production of the film (more than a few outlets have seemed downright gleeful to be reporting rumors about trashed rental properties and/or speculating on a filmmaker's taste for - gasp! - marijuana), while a much smaller portion of the buzz has centered around the film's quality. As this circus played out, my position has remained the same: I give zero fucks about the former, and all the fucks about the latter.

Earlier this week, Fox released an extended trailer for the film. Let's take a look:

I watch this trailer and I think, "I'm definitely in". I like the look of the film. I like the pedigree of this cast (shout-out to my dude Michael B. Jordan). I like the weirdo cross-dimensional stuff. I like the costume designs and the chemistry between the leads. I'm digging the set pieces we're given a glimpse of here (really feeling that forest getting sucked into...whatever that is). I think the effects work looks solid. Hell, I think I even like that silly-ass mask they've thrown on Dr. Doom. This all looks more than fine to me, so I find myself curious about the rabble.

As such, I'd like to turn the mic over to you guys: with less than a week before this thing hits theaters, how are you feeling about Josh Trank's Fantastic Four? Are you planning to see it? If you've got serious beef with the film, what is it (please try and elucidate beyond "It looks stupid")? If you're skeptical, why? I'm legitimately curious about this, and because the BMD commenter community has always struck me as a thoughtful bunch, I figured I'd be better served getting answers here than on, say, Twitter. Don't disappoint me!

Fantastic Four arrives this Friday. Will you be there?
