Not A Joke: Schwarzenegger To Replace Donald Trump On THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE

Sometimes the world gives you a reason to keep living, even if that reason is nothing more than a mild curiosity to see how much wacko this place can get. Today it got a bit more wacko. All the people who held off on suicide are high-fiving their asses off.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is going to replace Donald Trump as head “you’re fired” sayer for the next season of The Celebrity Apprentice. Now, aside from funny YouTube clips of Meat Loaf going on tirades, I have never watched The Celebrity Apprentice. I believe that will be changing soon.

I don’t know that Schwarzenegger and Trump have all that much in common, though. While both are kind of Republicans and both credit their own tenacity for achieving success, Schwarzenegger’s story seems like a true idealized American narrative. Meanwhile Trump’s feels more the dark bastardization what the American Dream is supposed to produce.

There are a few jokes to make, and I’m sure everyone has already made them (An immigrant took Trump's job! Instead of “You're fired!” the host will now say “You’re terminated!”), but for sheer entertainment value, this is going to be good however hackneyed the show ends up looking. In other words, more Arnold is always a good thing. Weekly Arnold is even better.
