BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Teaser: Superman Is Just So Darn Mad At Batman

For those lucky enough to not watch Gotham, a kind of teaser for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice debuted on the show tonight. It’s pretty fucking goofy/awesome:

At less than a minute, there’s not much here. But I appreciate how it presents one little scene. Not just any scene either. The de-masking of a captured Batman seems major, especially since it’s Superman ripping off that mask.

And what a pissed off Superman. Between his severe “I hate you” face and his bowing acolytes, I really have no idea what Snyder’s going for here. It’s hard not to see him as almost villainous. In the very least, he looks nothing like the virtuous nerd I know as Superman. I’m rooting for Batman, that's all I can tell you. I want Batman to kick the shit out of this jock.

This movie is going to look great and have a lot of great surface level moments. I’m still not sure it’ll be good though. We can all look forward to a more traditional trailer Wednesday night.
