THE NICE GUYS Trailer: Shane Black Is Back

Yes! We learned some script details for Shane Black's The Nice Guys in July of last year, and now the writer/director's highly anticipated follow-up to Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Iron Man 3 has a trailer. A hilarious trailer:

I love the energy in this trailer, which feels as much Shane Black as anything possibly could. Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling - originally, perfectly described at the AFF script reading as "Jackson Healy (muscle-for-hire, recovering alcoholic) and Holland March (private eye, practicing alcoholic)" - already seem to be a detective pairing for the ages, and every beat of this trailer is cool, lively and very, very funny. 

The Nice Guys hits theaters May 20, 2016. And then it will hit my Blu-ray shelf to be watched on an annual basis, along with the rest of Shane Black's bitchin' oeuvre. Check out the poster below:
