NEIGHBORS 2: SORORITY RISING Trailer Promises More Of The Same

Don’t get confused. This is not a trailer for the Zac Efron movie with Robert De Niro that everyone hates. It’s a trailer for Neighbors 2, the sequel to a film most people enjoy:

The premise for this sequel is so silly, I can’t help but wonder if there’s a level of 22 Jump Street self-awareness at play. Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne are once again bothered by loud college kids, but this time they’re ladies! They call upon Efron to help rid them of this menace and lots of comedy happens.

That’s fine, so long as comedy really does happen. There are a couple good bits in the trailer, but there are a lot of jokes that made me roll my eyes as well. I’m trying to stay positive because I liked the first movie despite not thinking much of its trailer either. It all comes down to how much awesome shit Rose Byrne gets to do, really.

Neighbors 2: Soroitity Rising comes out May 10.
