Maybe Don’t Watch This New Trailer For THE NICE GUYS

We've reached the point where the marketing's giving too much away.

One of the very first trailers for Shane Black's The Nice Guys spoiled a great moment in the film, and now we've got a new trailer (the cute twist on this one is that it's done up to resemble an actual trailer from the 70's, which it's only partially successful at) that spoils another great gag. Great gags are like half the reason to even see a Shane Black movie.

So, look: I'm not here to tell you what to do. I'm here to report the news. This morning's news involves a new trailer for The Nice Guys. You can decide whether or not you want to watch it, but I would advise against it. You should go into this film knowing as little as possible, for maximum enjoyment. 

You should be very excited about The Nice Guys. If it's half as good as the script (and with Black directing, that's all but guaranteed), it's going to be a blast. 

The Nice Guys arrives on May 20th.
