Here’s The First (Very Effective) Trailer For DON’T BREATHE
Entertainment Weekly dropped the first trailer for Fede Alvarez' Don't Breathe on us this morning, and holy moly does this thing look intense.
Dig it.
Don't Breathe premiered at this year's SXSW Film Festival, and I recall hearing the audience response to the film was strong. A quick glance at a few SXSW reviews seems to confirm that memory: in describing the film, I'm seeing people toss around words like "brutal", "Hitchcock", "masterful" and "intense". Of course it's possible that these reviews were written by irresponsible crazy people, but I dunno...based on the trailer, I'm inclined to take their word for it.
You'll remember Alvarez from another film that held its premiere at SXSW: 2013's hotly-debated Evil Dead remake (I suspect the comments below will devolve into yet another argument about that film, but then I expect people to be arguing over that one for some time).
Don't Breathe arrives on August 26th. Into it?
