The Final Trailer For THE SHALLOWS May Be The Best One Yet

If you told me a year ago that the 2016 summer movie I'd end up most looking forward to would be a Blake Lively thriller, I would have straight-up assaulted you for wasting my time with such buffoonery.

And yet, here we are, staring down the barrel of a summer movie season which, quite frankly, seems like something of a non-starter. And sure enough, off on the horizon is this little Blake Lively thriller about a lady being menaced by a shark and it looks awesome.

From where I'm standing, this looks like just what the doctor ordered: a simple premise, some beautiful cinematography, a big-ass shark that may or may not end up eating Blake Lively. Yes. I want to see this on a white-hot Texas afternoon with a potent margarita in one hand and a fistful of popcorn in the other. This...this is the summer movie junk food experience I've been craving, and I cannot wait to see it. 

How about you guys? Think The Shallows has sleeper hit written all over it, or am I alone in my anticipation?
