Get Ready To Love The LOVING Trailer

As you can see from the trailer below, Loving tells the story of an interracial couple who takes their right to be married in a horrible place and time all the way to the Supreme Court. It is an inspirational story for us all and the trailer may in fact make you cry a little:

On the other hand, this looks like (and with its November 4 release date, pretty much is) a blatant Oscar grab kind of movie. Maybe that’s not such a bad thing, though. The film definitely appears to be an actor showcase for Joel Edgerton (who appears to be playing his role as a Heatmiser-era Elliott Smith) and Ruth Negga. Meanwhile you have Michael Shannon and for some reason Nick Kroll. And finally a villain in the form of Marton Csokas, whose poor face will never know happiness in a movie.

So all in all, this seems like a nice, calm, emotional time at the movies, the kind of thing you can take Granny to, so long as your granny isn’t a racist.
