Peter Dinklage And Elle Fanning Team Up For I THINK WE’RE ALONE NOW

It's a science fiction thing.

A movie where Peter Dinklage and Elle Fanning end up the only survivors of an apocalyptic event (...or are they?) had never occurred to me, but now that we have I Think We're Alone Now, I realize my life has been empty and useless without it.

Take it away, Variety:

In a pre-American Film Market move, Peter Dinklage and Elle Fanning have signed on to star in the science-fiction film I Think We’re Alone Now.

Reed Morano will direct from a script by Mike Makowsky. Dinklage and Fanning will play survivors in a world where humanity was wiped out in a mysterious incident.

There is nothing else to report on this at the moment, perhaps beyond the fact that Reed Moreno (Meadowland, The Handmaiden's Tale) is a female director, and female directors in genre filmmaking is definitely something we're a fan of 'round these parts.

But beyond that? We'll be standing by for updates. Weigh in with your thoughts in the comments below, should you be moved to do so.
