Here’s Our First Look At THE ENDLESS, The Follow-Up Film From The Directors Of SPRING

Plus: plot details!

We were big fans of Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson's Spring when it arrived back in 2014, so we've been eagerly awaiting information on their next project, The Endless. Today, thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we've got our first look at the film and some juicy plot details.

First up, here's how EW's describing the film:

"...the film follows two brothers who return to the death cult from which they fled a decade ago, to find that there might be some truth to the group’s otherworldly beliefs."

Weirdo death cults with otherworldly beliefs that might not be as ridiculous as they initially sounded? Oh, yes. That's right in our wheelhouse.

Let's take a look at these photos:

So, not much to go on here, but I'm into that whatever that weird-ass rock is doing in the third pic.

In addition to co-directing the film, Benson and Moorhead will also headline The Endless, along with supporting work from Tate Ellington, Emily Montague, Lew Temple, Vinny Curran, Peter Cilella, Shane Brady, and Callie Hernandez. Jimmy LaValle, who scored Spring, is returning to provide the film's soundtrack.

Distribution is still being arranged, but we're intrigued with these new details and look forward to sharing more updates on The Endless as soon as they arrive. Stay tuned.
