Ryan Gosling Brings Space-Jazz To Damien Chazelle’s Neil Armstrong Biopic

As the sole jerk in these parts who didn’t think La La Land was the super-duper best movie ever, I will try to keep my sass to a minimum on this one.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ryan Gosling has just signed to play Neil Armstrong in First Man, the new film from Whiplash director Damien Chazelle. Okay, he also directed La La Land.

For those who don’t know, and I doubt there are many of you, Neil Armstrong was the first guy to set foot on the moon. If you believe in that sort of thing. The guy was also a total badass.
