Here’s A Brand-New Look At Zack Snyder’s JUSTICE LEAGUE
The good folks at USA Today just dropped their 2017 movie preview on us, and amongst the many, many new photos they released is a brand-new look at Zack Snyder's Justice League. Let's take a look and see what we can see.
First, the group shot.
You got your Batman (Ben Affleck), your Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), your Cyborg (Ray Fisher), your Flash (Ezra Miller), and everyone's favorite, Aquaman (Jason Momoa). They're standing on the back-end of some kinda dropship, which I'm guessing - judging by the swirling mist and the inhospitable terrain - has just landed on LV-426 (is this another Alien: Covenant still?).
Let's take a closer look at these folks.
First up: Batman and Wonder Woman. As you can see, Batman's rocking a bulky, Frank Miller-inspired outfit that looks a lot like the one he wore in last year's Batman V Superman: Donna Justice. Wonder Woman looks much the same, as well. Neither of them look particularly excited to be wherever they're at.
In the middle you've got Cyborg and The Flash. Cyborg is clearly a CGI creation, whereas The Flash has a costume that appears to be held together via a complex series of bungee cords. Not sure I'm sold on the look of either of these guys, but I'm withholding judgment until I've seen what they look like in action. Wonder if we'll see a new trailer soon.
Finally, you've got Aquaman, who - oh, goddamnit, Zack. You've gone too dark again! I can't see a damn thing.
Computer, enhance.
That's kind of better! As you can see, Aquaman's wearing a slightly different suit of armor than we've seen him wear in other photos. This looks to be some kind of battle-ready get-up (compare to the far more flesh-baring costume on the action figure linked below). He's holding his trident at a bit of an awkward angle, and this take on Aquaman still looks like a roided-out Rob Zombie to me, but I'm starting to get used to it. Again, it'll be interesting to see this in action.
