The YOUNG HAN SOLO Movie Has Officially Begun Shooting

So, does this mean it's just gonna be called SOLO?

Attention, Star Wars nerds: as revealed by a photo which just hit Twitter, production has officially begun on Chris Miller and Phil Lord's Untitled Han Solo Movie. You've already seen the image at the top of this post, but let's go ahead and take a look at the entire thing.

As you can see, we're on the first take of the first day of shooting. The most notable thing about this photo, however, is the temp title there at the bottom: Red Cup. If I were a betting man, I'd say that's a pretty big indication that Miller and Lord's film will simply be titled Solo. Works for us!

We've got a long way to go before Red Cup/Solo/Untitled Young Han Solo Movie/Lil' Solo hits theaters (it gets here in May of 2018), but - given the pedigree of the cast and crew (shoutout to DP Bradford Young!) - we're pretty excited about this one and will be keeping our ear to the ground for updates. Stay tuned for more as they roll in.
