Hugh Jackman Knows The Drill In This New LOGAN Clip

Yesterday, the Super Bowl did its job and served as the delivery method for a number of new movie trailers, one of which was a brand-new teaser for James Mangold's Logan. It was pretty good. This new clip below, released just this morning, is even better.

By conservative estimate, this is probably the 7,000th Logan-related post I've written over the past six months. First there was casting news. Then there were stills. Stills begat posters, posters begat trailers, and trailers begat TV spots. Now we have moved on to actual clips from Mangold's film. I remain excited and confident in Logan's ability to rock my socks off, but I confess that I am just about out of words for it. But I will try.

This is a good clip. Hugh Jackman looks both grizzled and super pissed, which is how I like my Logan. He smashes a man's nose and then breaks a shotgun over one knee and it's badass. Like you, I am excited to see the film in full and look forward to its release, which is right around the corner. You know the drill.

In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces. 

Logan arrives on March 3rd and we expect it to kick our asses.
