Here’s The Official Plot Synopsis For JUSTICE LEAGUE

This just in: Superman is still "dead".

The official plot synopsis for Zack Snyder's Justice League has arrived. Let's see what it has to say for itself:

In the wake of Clark Kent/Superman’s (Cavill) death at the hands of Doomsday in BvS, vigilante Bruce Wayne/Batman (Affleck) reevaluates his extreme methods and begins reaching out to extraordinary heroes to assemble a team of crime-fighters to defend earth from all kinds of threats. Together with Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (Gadot), Batman seeks out cybernetically enhanced former college football star Vic Stone/Cyborg (Fisher), speedster Barry Allen/The Flash (Miller) and Atlantean warrior king Arthur Curry/Aquaman (Momoa). They face off against Steppenwolf (Hinds), the herald and second-in-command to alien warlord Darkseid, who is charged by Darkseid with hunting down three artefacts hidden on earth.

So, we're all still playing along with the idea that Superman is dead (sure he is), which was probably to be expected. What's really sticking out is the thing about Batman "reevaluating his extreme methods", which sounds a little like course-correction to me. Perhaps we'll see him branding less people in this one.

Also of interest: this plot synopsis seems to make Steppenwolf the official Big Bad of Justice League. I'm good with this, honestly; it's preferable to a scenario where, say, Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor comes back to taunt the Justice League while using Steppenwolf as some type of pawn, or - god forbid - any scenario involving Jared Leto's Joker.

Anyway, this movie comes out in November and we're hoping for the best. Where are you guys at on all this?
