Welcome to the final round of the Birth.Movies.Death. Alternate Oscars, in which we, the BMD staff, honour the films that were snubbed by the Oscars, and you, the readers, vote as to which ones were the very best. We’re not limited by Academy rules, so anything goes. Our nominees are made up of the BMD team's personal picks - the only rule is that the actual Oscar nominees for an award can’t get listed in that category.

We've been running new awards each week for the past month, and we’ve been pretty happy with the winners so far. Before we get to the final countdown, congratulations to the winners of last week’s categories, as voted by you:
