Seth Rogen Will Attempt To Romance Charlize Theron In FLARSKY

It could work.

According to a new report over at Variety, Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron have signed on to headline Flarsky, a new comedy being directed by Jonathan Levine (who previously worked with Rogen on 50/50 and The Night Before).

Here's how they're describing the film:

Rogen will play an unemployed journalist, battered by his own misfortune and self-destructive ways, who endeavors to pursue Theron’s character — who was his childhood crush and babysitter and now happens to be one of the most powerful and unattainable women on earth. The script is written by veteran comedy scribe Dan Sterling.

So, basically, it's Seth Rogen doing his damndest to romance Charlize Theron? Sounds like an uphill battle, but I'm happy to watch him try. I'm also curious to know more about Theron's character, "one of the most powerful and unattainable women on Earth". Is she a CEO? A government official? What makes her so unattainable? Y'know what, let's not worry about it right now; I'm sure the movie will answer all of these questions and more.

Right now there's no start date or any indication who else might be appearing in the film, but we'll keep you updated on Flarsky as it works its way through production. You guys into this or nah?
