The First ATOMIC BLONDE Footage Is Here To Melt Your Eyeballs

The good folks at Entertainment Weekly have some new Atomic Blonde photos for us today. That's one of 'em up top, and another two down below, but we'll get there in a minute. For now let's focus on this jaw-droppingly cool footage that just popped up over on Twitter.

Yes, this is absolutely something we are interested in, and definitely be looking forward to a full reveal of the "Restricted" footage on Friday. That much I can assure you. 

In the meantime, EW's got photos. Photos and a compelling plot description:

Atomic Blonde ... is a poppy, punk-rock take on the genre by fight choreographer-turned-director David Leitch (John Wick). It’s Berlin, 1989. Depeche Mode and New Order dominate the airwaves, the wall is about to come down, and Theron’s character Lorraine Broughton is sent into the chaotic city to retrieve a most-wanted dossier. James McAvoy plays her hardened, fur-coated fellow agent. (You’ve never seen a black mesh tank-top look so good.)

There's not a single sentence in that paragraph that isn't exciting. You can check if you don't believe me. 

And here we have the photos. You've already seen Charlize Theron's Lorraine Broughton kicking ass in the header photo at the top of this page, but now her she is strolling along with the aforementioned, fur-coated James McAvoy (no mesh tank-top, though).

And her she is looking both glamorous and deadly. A classic Charlize Theron look, in other words.

We cannot wait to see Atomic Blonde. A few lucky BMD staff members will be catching it this weekend at SXSW (stay tuned for that review from the frontlines), the rest of us chumps will have to wait until July 28th.
