Turns Out, Darren Aronofsky’s MOTHER! Is A Horror Film

Remember Mother!, that mysterious movie Darren Aronofsky's been working on? Yeah, the one starring Jennifer Lawrence.

Well, get this:

The plot of Darren Aronofsky’s next film has largely been under wraps since it was announced — but this week’s CinemaCon convention, and an individual close to project that spoke to TheWrap, revealed the director is going back to Black Swan territory with his latest.

Aronofsky’s mother! will be a horror-thriller.

That's interesting! And very exciting! And guess who else is in the cast? If you didn't say "Javier Bardem, Michelle Pfeiffer, Domnhall Gleeson, Ed Harris and Kristen Wiig", then you made a bad guess and should hang your head in shame, because all of those people are totally in this movie. What a killer lineup.

So, what's it about? The Wrap (who broke this story, by the way) has the following synopsis:

“A couple’s relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence.”
